The Lady Raiders saw Milwaukee jump out to a 7-0 lead in the first two minutes before Junior LaShawna Thomas started the Raiders offense with a three pointer at the 17:06 mark. The Lady Raiders and Panthers would fight this half back and forth with neither team getting too large a lead. Milwaukee managed a seven point lead at the 17:51 point but couldn't hold on. At the buzzer, Wright State went to the locker room leading 22-18.

As a team the Raiders shot 52.6% (10-19) while holding Milwaukee to just 29.6% (8-27). Milwaukee picked up 10 of their points from the Raiders 16 turnovers. However WSU got 8 of their points from UWM's 14 TOs. Thomas lead the Raiders with eight points and three steals while Sophomore Molly Fox pulled down a team leading four rebounds.

The lead in the first half changed hands five times with two tied scores. That wouldn't be the case in the second half. The Lady Raiders came out more comfortable on the court and with the extremely small crowd knowing they could win this game. The lead would only change twice more, early in the second half.

Milwaukee started the half with regaining the lead but they would never have more than a two point lead in the second half. The Lady Raiders took over the game at the 10:29 mark with a three point shot by Senior Kanisha Ward giving WSU a 35-34 lead. Wright State would open up a 22 point lead, 63-41 on a Thomas layup. Milwaukee would try to fight back but a tough defense would hold and the Lady Raiders walked out of Sinclair College with a 64-46 win.

Thomas got her eighth twenty point game while also grabbing four steals and three rebounds. Fox hit 13 points while also pulling down six boards, grabbing four steals and two rebounds and denying two shots. She contributed a great game to help ensure the win.

The Raiders shot 54.5% (24-44) and held UWM to 32.7% (16-49). Although Milwaukee controlled the boards 30-27, WSU limited their turnovers to just six in the second half for game total of 22. The Raiders however picked up 23 points off the 25 Milwaukee turnovers to just 15 pickup points for Milwaukee. The Lady Raiders had 12 steals and three blocked shots in the game providing a well rounded game. The win puts them in a tie for 7th with Milwaukee in the Horizon League.

The Lady Raiders will now host nationally ranked UW-Green Bay. They just lost to Detroit which moved Green bay into second place in the HL standings. Due to weather and cancellation of events at the Nutter Center, this game has now been changed from Sinclair Community College. This game will now be played in the Nutter Center at 2pm on Saturday.
